Students complete 720 hours of instruction each year, combining rigorous theoretical study with hands-on, real-world experience. Our program follows the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) frameworks — the gold standard for vocational education in Kenya. To progress each year, students must pass a two-day national exam, and in their final year, they sit for the NITA certification exam, earning professional licensure in their field.
We’re proud to share that 100% of our students have passed the national NITA exam — a remarkable achievement in a country where the average pass rate is just 50%. In 2024, 64% of our students earned scores between 70% and 90%, while 36% achieved a First-Class Pass, scoring above 90%. These outstanding results place Nyamboyo Technical School among Kenya’s top-performing vocational institutions — a testament to our students’ dedication and our teachers’ excellence.
